"STORY OF NOTHING" AND "BLUE ROOM" AWARDED AT 55TH KFF
On 6 June the Award Ceremony of 55th Krakow Film Festival was held. "Story of nothing" by Grzegorz Jaroszuk and "Blue room" by Tomasz Siwiński are among the awarded films.
Silver Hobby-Horse award for the Director of the Best Fiction Film was given to Grzegorz Jaroszuk for the film "Story of nothing" (Poland, France). This is how the National Competition Jury consisting of: Piotr Dumała – chairman, Jarosław Kamiński, Hanna Polak, Grażyna Stachówna, Janusz Wróblewski has motivated its decision: "for an original and innovative film language extending Polish cinematography means of expression."
Tomasz Siwiński received the Silver Hobby-Horse for the Director of the Best Animated Film for the film "A Blue Room" (Poland, France). The jury has decided to award the film "for finding exceptionally accurate visual means to express the metaphysical value of the human existence."
