It marks another success for the film in Japan this year and another important stop on its impressive international festival journey.

  • AGNIESZKA RAJDA WINS BEST ACTRESS AWARD FOR HER ROLE IN “WEIRD TO BE HUMAN” IN SYDNEY

    Jan Grabowski’s film “Weird to be Human” made its Australian premiere at the Sydney Science-Fiction Film Festival. The film returned to Poland with an award for Agnieszka Rajda for Best Actress in a Short Film. The festival’s seventh edition took place from 9 to 11 October 2026.

  • KLAUDIA FORTUNIAK’S “DREAM UP THE TITLE” WINS AN AWARD AT THE IDROMENO FILM FESTIVAL IN ALBANIA

    The film “Dream Up the Title”, directed by Klaudia Fortuniak and produced by the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź (PWSFTviT), has returned from the Idromeno International Film Festival in Albania with the award for the Best Student Film. The festival’s fifth edition took place in Shkodër from 3 to 9 October 2026.

  • FULL IDFA PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED: EIGHT POLISH PRODUCTIONS IN AMSTERDAM

    The full programme of this year’s International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam has now been unveiled. No fewer than eight Polish productions and co-productions are featured across the International Competition, Frontlight, Luminous, Signed, Best of Fests, Dead Angle and IDFA DocLab. This year’s edition of one of the world’s leading documentary film festivals will take place from 12 to 22 November.
