ANIMAART

Anima Art Foundation was created in 2011 as entity supporting Anima Art school's activity. Its main goal is to support artistic activity of professional creators, students and graduates of the school. We are especially keen on animated film and, since the beginning of our existence, we have worked intensively in the field of film production. Despite short period of existence, the Foundation has already made three productions: 2 completed and 1 being developed. Anima Art Foundation is a place where animations are created, talked about, and where animation breaks new ground in film art.

ANIMOON

Animoon is an animation studio founded on the passion for animating of its initiator, Grzegorz Waclawek. Though young, he is an experienced producer and author, as well as director of animated films. Animoon aims at following the tradition of author’s animation in the Polish Cinema and promoting the works of young and distinguished animators. Apart from producing author’s films, the studio provides animation for commerce, such as animated series and animated feature films. Animoon produces animations both for young ones and adults. The studio developes their own technologies, e.g. “Pelican Capture” – the motion capture for an animated puppet. Working on the animated feature film “Fennec”, Animoon uses their own technique of manual modelling for the characters and scenery, 3D scanning as well as computer animation. These techniques allow up to 40% savings in production costs.

BADI BADI

Badi Badi is a Polish animation and postproduction studio founded in 2003 by a couple of friends Tom Nedved – graphic artist, ads and video clips director and Tomasz Paziewski – postproduction manager. The combination of their professional experience resulted in a new company currently employing almost 40 talented people who deliver projects with passion and attention to detail allowing for the highest quality of work. Studio cooperates with the most renowned advertising agencies. On average 200 TV commercials are produced every year. Badi Badi also prepares special effects for feature films („Wkręceni”, „Janosik. A True Story” , „Pokaż kotku, co masz w środku” or most recent work of Peter Fudakowski „The Secret Sharer”). In the recent years the own production of Badi Badi, animated short movie „The Game”, has won 17 awards on the animation festivals around the world (e.g. Best of Show – Indie Fest, USA; Best Animated Film Award – Boston International Film Festival, USA; Excellence Award – Rincon International Film Festival, Portoryko).

BREAKTHRU FILMS

Breakthru Productions founded by Hugh Welchman, is a prize-winning film and animation production company, based in Gdansk, with offices in Lodz, Warsaw and London. Breakthru established its reputation with its slate of prize-winning shorts which have collected over twenty international awards & nominations, including two BAFTA nominations, an official selection at Cannes, the Annecy Cristal and Annecy Audience awards, Canal+ Prize, TCM prize, the Rose D’ Or as well as an Oscar for Best Short Animation Film for PETER & THE WOLF. BreakThru produced the first stereo 3D puppet animation in Poland – Magic Piano (short listed for Oscars 2012) and a collection of 12 short animated movies to Fryderyk Chopin’s music performed by piano virtuoso Lang Lang.

GS ANIMATION/ GRUPA SMACZNEGO

GS Animation is an animation studio production company, founded in 2004 by producer Robert Jaszczurowski and directors Łukasz Kacprowicz and Marcin Wasilewski. Together they are responsible for numerous animated project, both commercial and artistic, including Paul Shuttleworth's HARRY AND TOTO ( 2008), a TV series for BBC Worldwide; the award- winning  MAMI FATALE(2012), an original TV series syndicated in multiple territories; and the 3d short LOST SENSE(2013) which received the Jury Award at SIGGRAPH 2013. Currently working on their first feature film MICE ON STRIKE.

HUMAN ARK

Human Ark is a digital animation studio specializing in 3D character animation and complex visual effects. We create animated feature films, short films and TV series as well as VFX for commercial and film productions. The studio employs a well-composed team of more than 30 specialists and has become a hub for Poland’s best animation and concept artists. SE MA FOR PRODUKCJA FILMOWA

A stop motion animation studio located in Lodz. Its traditions reach a year 1947. Over 1450 films were produced here, among which 850 are puppet animations. Two of them were given the Academy Award for the Best Short Animated Films – “Tango” in 1982 and “Peter and the Wolf” in 2008. Apart from producing animated films and commercials, Se-ma-for offers a wide range of special products and services for other studios: armatures, puppets and decorations.
