"THE SHADOW FOREST " AWARDED AT WORLD-FEST HOUSTON

The film "The Shadow Forest" by Andrzej Cichocki was awarded with the Gold Remi statuette in the Short Film category at the 48th World-Fest Houston International Film & Video Festival.

The history of World-Fest Houston International Film & Video Festival dates back to over 50 years ago. It is the oldest independent film festival in the world. The mission of World-Fest is to search for and award the most exceptional and creative films. Currently, World-Fest grants awards in 12 categories. 

This year, Andrzej Cichocki was included in the group of the winners of this prestigious award, such as Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott. The jury awarded “The Shadow Forest” with the Gold Remi statuette in the Short Film category.

"The Shadow Forest" tells the story of a a poacher who meets a wolf he was hunting. When he suddenly hears a gunshot, the man sees frightened people, running away. Meanwhile, one of the people who are running away gets lost in the forest - it is a little boy. Even the wolves can sense the oncoming danger.
