    Marta Pajek's animation received the press award for best short film at ANIMA - the Brussels Animation Film Festival.

    Cinema is still full of prejudice and discrimination, things which the world should have got rid of a long time ago. They are still very real and visible for racial minorities and women and the protagonists of films are usually white men. If women appear in films, they are often in the kitchen or in the bedroom. The #metoo campaign and the selective policy of award giving prove that the film industry is still not free from this issue.

  • POLISH ANIMATIONS AT TRICKY WOMEN

    Tricky Women/Tricky Realities Festival begins exactly in one week. Eight films from Polish female directors were included in the programme, while one of the directors even made a trailer promoting this year's edition of the festival.

  • POLISH SHORT FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN MARCH

    In March, the spring festival season starts for good. This month, Polish short feature films will be shown, among others, in Bulgaria, Germany and Canada.
