POLISH SHORTS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN DECEMBER
December means that film festivals are slowly going on a winter break. However, there is still a chance this month to watch Polish shorts at international festivals in countries like France or Belgium.
At the beginning of the month Leuven Short Film Festival will present a big selection of Polish short films including "Heimat" by Emi Buchwald, "Arrival" by Justyna Pelc, "Hot and Cold" by Marta Prus, "The Echo" by Magnus von Horn, "The Best Fireworks Ever" by Aleksandra Terpińska, "Short Distance" by Giovanni Pierangeli and "Siemiany" by Philip James McGoldrick. In the programme you will also find documentaries and animations, as well as Roman Polanski's films. You can read more about it here.
Also in the first half of December Kinoproba Festival will take place in Russia. Following Polish short films were invited to the programme: "On the Road" by Bartosz Nowacki, "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak, "Let Me In" by Dominka Gnatek, "Arrival" by Justyna Pelc, "Spitsbergen" by Michał Szcześniak and "Casting" by Katarzyna Iskra.
At Tous Courts of Aix-en-Provence Festival in France the audience will see "My Name Is Julita" by Filip Dierżawski and "Nothing New under the Sun" by Damian Kocur. The last screening of a short film this year will be the one of "Daughter" by Maria Tamkovich at International Uşak Winged Seahorse Short Film Festival in Turkey.
