FILM NIGHT WITH POLISH SHORTS IN SLOVAKIA
Polish short films will be the main attraction of Film Night at the Castle in Slovakia. The screenings will take place July 20th - 22nd.
Film Night at the Castle is an event taking place at the Šariš castle in eastern Slovakia. It is the only film festival in Slovakia where the screenings are held in the open air on the castle hill. It will be the seventh edition of the festival.
During this year's Film Night at the Castle we will see twenty Polish short films made in the last few years. In the programme we can find animations like "Ab Ovo" by Anita Kwiatkowska Naqvi, "Woolen Cogwheels" by Bartosz Kędzierski, "Creatures" by Tessa Moult-Milewska, "But She’s Nice" by Tomasz Pilarski, "Baths" by Tomasz Ducki and "Toto" and "Paperbox" by Zbigniew Czapka. Among the documentary productions the audience will find "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska, "Our Curse" by Tomasz Śliwiński, "Object" by Paulina Skibińska, "The Snails" by Grzegorz Szczepaniak and "The Whistle" and "Love, Love" by Grzegorz Zariczny. In Slovakia we will aslo see short films: "Watermelon" by Tato Kotetishvili, "Grandma's Day" by Miłosz Sakowski, "Romantik" by Mateusz Rakowicz, "La Etiuda" by Martin Rath, "Father's Day" by Kacper Lisowski, "The Dogcatcher" by Daria Woszek and "America" by Aleksandra Terpińska.
