"LARP" AWARDED IN BREST
The film "Larp" by Kordian Kądziela won the Format Court award at the 30th Brest European Short Film Festival. The festival was held from 10 to 15 November.
"Larp," a student fiction film by Kordian Kądziela, is among the award-winners of the 30th edition of the prestigious Brest European Short Film Festival. The film was given the award granted by the on-line magazine dedicated to short films, "Format Court." The award includes a special focus about the film on the magazine's website, a screening of the film in Studio des Ursulines in Paris during the Format Court night and creation of a DCP copy, and the award was given by the creator and chief editor of the magazine - Katia Bayer.
Seventeen-year-old Sergiusz, the main protagonist of the film "Larp," feels misunderstood by his family. Some of his aunts confuse him with his cousin, his older brother, Remigiusz does not speak to him and his father wants to turn him into a boxer of worldwide renown. The boy takes refuge in his great passion, the world of science-fiction.
