"BITTERSWEET" AWARDED AT THE EARLY BIRD FESTIVAL IN BULGARIA

The fiction film by Michał Wawrzecki, "Bittersweet," won the Best Cinematography award at the Early Bird Student Film Festival in Bulgaria. The director of photography of the film is Cezary Stolecki. The festival was held from 4 to 8 November.

"Bittersweet," the film by Michał Wawrzecki, produced by the Faculty of Radio and Television of the University of Silesia, is among the award-winners of the 11th edition of the Early Bird Student Film Festival in Bulgaria. The film was awarded for the Best Cinematography, the author of which is Cezary Stolecki. It is worth to mention that the award in Bulgaria is the first foreign award for "Bittersweet."

The jury that awarded the film consisted of Kristina Grozeva, Stefan Ivancic and Kalin Ivanov, and the award itself includes a sculpture by Mihaela Krusteva Sakayan, 300 dollars for the next film project from the American Foundation in Bulgaria as well as 300 dollars in production services from Nu Boyana Film Studios. The Early Bird Student Film Festival is the largest event of this type in Bulgaria. Its eleventh edition was held from 4 to 8 November in Sofia.

„Bittersweet” is a story of a wedding night, night in the hotel, night on the street, night at the back couch of the car, in bakery and restaurant, night with the rifle which have to shoot. There is one couple, one night and two robberies.
