"Object" was given a diploma of merit in the documentary film category at the 45th edition of Tampere Film Festival. It is a short film festival, held annually in March in the Finnish city of Tampere. The first edition of the event was held from February 28 to March 2, 1969.  The main originator and founder of the festival was Ilkka Kalliom, then a young cinema enthusiast and a student. In 2011, "The Declaration of Immortality" by Marcin Koszałka was appreciated, in 2009 - "Glass Trap" by Paweł Ferdek, in 2002 - "The Man Thing" by Sławomir Fabicki, and in 1999, "Silence" by Małgorzata Szumowska was chosen the best documentary film.

The film by Paulina Skibińska is a creative image of a rescue mission, taking place in the space of  two worlds - on the ice desert and under water. The film is told from the point of view of the rescue team, of a diver entering the world under the ice, and of the ordinary people, awaiting on the shore. The documentary was produced by Munk Studio, working in co-operation with Polish Filmmakers Association.
