"ARGENTINIAN LESSON" WINS MAKEDOX

Last Friday, the documentary film festival Makedox in Macedonian Skopje ended. Among the awarded films, there are Polish titles.

 Makedox is a relatively new festival, presenting international documentary films. This year, its third edition took place in Skopje. Two Polish films were in the competition: the short documentary "Returns" directed by Krzysztof Kadłubowski as well as "Argentinian Lesson" by Wojciech Staroń - a film that has already been awarded several times at the festivals around the world. The latter defeated the rivals in its category and recived the Onion Award for the best international documentary film.

The festival took place from 15th to 22nd June 2012
