In the evening of the 30th of June, Polish film-makers were named the winners as many as three times.

The film by Karina Paciorkowska was chosen the Best Animation Short Film in the competition, beating eleven competitors, including "Colaholic" by Marcin Podolec. "The Dam" was given the Honorable Mention in the best short documentary film category, in which it competed with ten other films, among them, there was also "In A Lion" by Karol Lindholm. Mara Tamkovich was honoured by the Cineuropa Audience Award for Best Short Film because her film "Daughter" received the best ratings from the viewers from among all short films.

The list of all award-winners is available on the website of the festival FEST.

"You Are Overreacting"  is a hand-drawn animated film, trying to ask questions about women's place in contemporary reality. The film is inspired by everyday life, statements of public figures and by how the media talk about women.

"The Dam" depicts a difficult relationship between a father and his son who travel together. After they stopped maintaining contact with each other, they try to spend some time together. However, it is not a carefree weekend in a cottage in the Bieszczady Mountains. The drunk father asks his son rhetorically: "So what, you'd thought it was going to be easy?"

The film by Tamkovich tells the story of a father who finds his unconscious daughter lying in a pool of blood in his own bathroom and tries to bring the perpetrator of her suffering to justice.
