"EVIL DEEDS" AWARDED IN CZECH REPUBLIC

On October 15th the International Student Film Festival in Písek came to an end. The Czech award went to Piotr Domalewski for his film "Evil Deeds".

It was already the 17th edition of the festival. Over 400 films from 52 countries were submitted. Piotr Domalewski's short film "Evil Deeds" was selected to the competition and left Czech Republic with an award.

The film received the Best Narrative Film award funded by the OAZA association. The jury appreciated the film for presenting human dignity in a tragicomic yet pointed way.

The protagonist in "Evil Deeds" is Max, a ten year old son of a hospital cleaner, who has been caught trying to steal a patient's wallet. The old pensioner decides not to report the theft but instead asks Max to complete three tasks. Those turn out to be much more challenging than Max would ever expect.
