“TRAMWAY” AWARDED IN NORWAY
Bartosz Reetz's film was recognised for its cinematography at the West Nordic International Film Festival in Norway.
The West Nordic International Film Festival is an event that has been taking place since 2012 and showcases documentaries and short films from around the world. Each year, the festival becomes increasingly successful and attracts a large audience as well as film industry insiders.
This year, one of the films presented in the program was Tramway by Bartosz Reetz with cinematography by Michał Żuberek. It was the cinematographer's work that was recognised by the festival jury.
The eponymous tram is leaving the depot in the morning. A young teacher starts another day and goes to work. A chance meeting on the tram makes long-dormant longings return.
