"DAUGHTER" AWARDED AT THE PREMIERS PLANS FILM FESTIVAL
The short feature film by Tomasz Wolski, "Daughter," was given as many as two awards at the recently finished Premiers Plans Film Festival in France.
The festival Premiers Plans presents film débuts of European directors. This year, in Angers, the 28th edition of the event was held, which turned out to be lucky for Tomasz Wolski. His film "Daughter" was given the Grand Jury Prize in the European Short Film Competition and the Audience Award.
"Daughter" is a story about mother and daughter who have not been in touch for years. They have to spend a couple of hours at night together because the younger woman's daughter disappeared. They set out for a search together, which becomes an opportunity to explain sensitive issues from the past.
