He is preparing for an event which has huge importance in the life of the school and which will determine whether he is promoted to the next grade. All of the teachers and the students' parents take part in this opportunity. Wiktor is accompanied by his grandmother, who is with him also during the rehearsals of the performance. However, Wiktor dreams of his father, who lives abroad, coming to see the play.
