Bartek Bala
Director and scriptwriter. From high school, he cultivates a short film form. He started with video art, moving smoothly towards the story. His films have been displayed at Festivals in Poland and around the world. He won the 48 Hour Film Festival in Katowice with the film "Under the Eyelids", while his "Below the Sea Level" won several awards at the Festivals. His film for the Legal Culture Foundation received an award at the 41st Gdynia Film Festival.He is an assistant in the sculpture studio of Tomasz Koclęga, with whom he has been cooperating for seven years. He represented Poland three times at snow sculpture competitions in Chinese Harbin, double - winning Best Creativity Award and Bronze Award.
He is working on a new full-length film, writing together with Maciej Słowiński, the screenplay for the film "Swarm", which is in the development phase.
He co-creates the Film Studio HOLE Films with Tomek Langner.
