POLISH SHORT FILMS IN DENMARK
On Monday starts the oldest and one of the most important Danish festivals - the Odense International Film Festival. As many as six Polish short films are invited to this year's programme.
The Odense International Film Festival (OFF) was founded in 1975 and from the very beginning focused on the quality and diversity of the films shown there. The organisers emphasise the importance of passion and creativity. Thanks to the rigorous selection, in the programme you can find the best recently made short films. It is not without reason that the OFF is included in the prestigious group of festivals qualifying for the Academy Awards.
This year, the Danish audience will have a chance to watch as many as six Polish films. Four animated films compete for the statuettes: "Acid Rain" by Tomek Popakul, "Squaring the Circle" by Karolina Specht, "You Little Ones" by Maciej Rynkiewicz and "The Hunt" by Mateusz Jarmulski and two documentary films: "The Tough" by Marcin Polar and "The Hive" by Jeremi Skrodzki.
You can find more information about the festival on its official website.
