SHORT FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN APRIL
This month will blossom with festival screenings. Polish short films will be present at various festivals including Filmfest Dresden in Germany and Moscow IFF in Russia.
The festivals in April will begin with the screening of "The Best Fireworks Ever" by Aleksandra Terpińska at Malmo International Female Film Festival in Sweden. The next day Cyprus European Film Festival will start where the audience will be able to see "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak. This month Bodzak's short film will also visit Busan International Short Film Festival in Korea and Filmfest Dresden in Germany. The German festival will show one more Polish short film - "The Stop" by Bartosz Reetz (also at the Fajr International Film Festival in Iran). Also in Germany, but at FiSH Film Festival, the audience will see two Polish productions - "My pleasure" by Tadeusz Kabicz and "Immensity".
Egypt in April will host Ismalia Film Festival which will present two Polish short films: "Boys with Butterflies" by Marcin Filipowicz and "Loved Ones" by Zofia Kowalewska. At the Moscow International Film Festival in Russia the audience will see "Users" by Jakub Piątek and "Wormwood" by Maria Ornaf, and at Florida Film Festival in the USA - "Happiness" by Maciej Buchwald. Also in the USA, but this time at YALE Student Film Festival, you will have a chance to see "Wiki" by Veronica Andersson.
In the second half of the month USHQYN International Student Film Festival will take place in Kazachstan where the audience will see "Fascinatrix" by Justyna Mytnik; while Richmond Film Festival in the USA will present "Play" by Piotr Sułkowski, and Brussels Short Film Festival - "Cradle Me" by David Tejer.
