The Silver Eye Awards: Polish knock-out!
During the closing ceremony of the International Documentary Film Festival in Jihlava, the Silver Eye Awards for the best films qualified for the East Silver Documentary Market was given for the first time. Three Polish documentaries were awarded.
Marcin Janos Krawczyk's film”Six weeks” won the award for short-length films. Bartek Konopka's “Rabbit a la Berlin” was acknowledged the best middle-length film. Anna Kazejak's “Sidetrack” was also given a distinction in this category.
At the East Silver Documentary Market, there are presentations of documentary productions from East and Central Europe. The event, during which the films and information about them are presented via video library, catalog and online database, was enacted within the frames of co-production between Jihlava Festival and the Institute of Documentary Film.
