CIRCUS MAXIMUS

A story of a circus in decline which is approaching its imminent end. The Director, who has made a number of unsuccessful attempts to save the circus from bankruptcy, is gradually losing his grip on reality. Marianna, a teenager taken in by the circus troupe as a child, comes to the rescue. Thanks to the sacrifice of the girl, who will pay the highest price, the performers will be freed from their self-imposed roles and helplessness getting a chance for a new, happy life.

Bartek Kulas »
Born in 1980. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He writes screenplays, directs short films, music videos and works as a designer, including theatre stage design. He prepared the virtual stage design for the concert of Edyta Geppert and the Kroke Band. Kulas is a laureate of numerous festival awards, among others in Luxemburg, Torun, Warsaw and Krakow.
