THE DIVER
POLISH TITLE: NUREK
A diver is looking at the black‑and‑white world, sometimes scratched, both above and below the water level. Like the 19th‑century novel hero, the protagonist roams the streets full of drying underwear and peeks into a modest room with a round aquarium in the centre holding just one fish inside. The diver’s memories and desires pour out of the man, like water from a leaking diving suit.

Agata Gorządek »
born in 1982 in Warsaw. A graduate of the W. Gerson School of Fine Arts. In 2003‑2005 she studied at the European Academy of Photography in Warsaw, and in 2005‑2011 she studied Animation and Special Effects at the Cinematography and TV Production Department of the Film School in Łódź. She has receivedmany awards and distinctions for her film studies "Rain" (2006), "Episode" (2007) and "The Rest of the World" (2008). Now she is cooperating with the Se‑ma‑for Studio in Łódź.
