Joanna Zastróżna
born in 1972, she is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She lives in Sidi Ifni /Marocco/ and in Sopot /Poland/. She began her experiments with the photographic matter in the 1990s [series: Buba (1996-98), Messenger (1999)], going beyond the boundaries of photography. Thanks to her very own style, she has been widely recognised by the critics and the audience, both in Poland and abroad. She remains a very distinctive personality, ceaselessly seeking new domains of artistic activities and experiments, while her latest projects are concerned with film.
