CALL FOR PROJECTS FOR BRUSSELS COPROMARKET 2026 IS NOW OPEN

The Brussels Short Film Festival has announced the call for submissions for the next edition of the Brussels CoProMarket. The sessions will take place on 28 and 29 April 2026 during the festival, scheduled for 22 April-2 May. This is one of the key European events dedicated to short films, which for 28 years has created a vital meeting space for filmmakers and industry professionals.

Brussels CoProMarket – Short Film Sessions is an initiative designed to support collaboration among European producers and to expand their professional networks with key industry decision-makers, including producers, TV buyers, distributors, and festival programmers.

Participants in the 2026 edition will have access to an extensive programme that includes pitching sessions, one-to-one business meetings, and networking events. A total of 13 projects will be selected for the forum. The list of selected projects will be announced at the end of March.

Producers will have the opportunity to present their films to major Belgian and European industry representatives, take part in meetings with various professionals, and establish contacts that may lead to public or private funding opportunities. Participants will also be invited to attend the Brussels Short Film Festival and its Short Film Market.

The submission deadline is 8 February 2026.
