“THE DRESS” SHORTLISTED FOR AN OSCAR

The short film by Tadeusz Łysiak has been included on an Academy Award shortlist. Only fifteen titles are now competing for entry to the top five.

Produced by the Warsaw Film School, this short film tells the story of Julia. Working in a roadside motel, the girl succumbs to an overwhelming feeling of rejection and loneliness. She is different and society has repeatedly made sure she knows it. However, she dreams of a relationship, of physical closeness with a man. Unexpectedly she crosses paths with a handsome truck driver and begins to fantasize about him.
