POLISH SHORT FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN DECEMBER

The festival season is slowly coming to an end. There may be fewer screenings this month, yet our short films still have a few chances to reach international audiences. Check out where you can see our domestic productions in December.

At the beginning of the month, the International Festival-Workshop of Film Schools Kinoprob will showcase Karol Lindholm's The Last Whistle, while the Macau International Short Film Festival is going to feature Last Days of Summer by Klaudia Kęskia, Maria Is Not Alive by Martyna Majewska, Raisa by Dorota Migas-Mazur, Into the Night by Kamila Tarabura, and Agnieszka Nowosielska's Vyraj. At the same time, viewers at the FIDBA International Documentary Film Festival of Buenos Aires in Argentina will watch Papa by Maria Yakimovich while the audience of the Sardinia Film Festival will see May the World Not Carry You by Rozalia Las. 

IFF Febiofest Bratislava starts on the 6th of December. The program of the Slovak festival has a large selection of Polish productions. Metro by Natalia Krawczuk, Ostatni gwizdek by Karol Lindholm, Papa by Maryia Yakimovich, Plantarium by Tomek Ducki, and Submission by Michał Ciechomski will all be competing for its prizes. 

CONOFEST – International (Short) Film Festival is set to start in the second half of the month in Spain. Its competitive section includes Zuzanna Grajcewicz's short Dog Days.
