POLISH SHORT FILMS IN CAMBRIDGE
At the turn of October and November, another edition of Cambridge Film Festival is held. In the competition, there are five Polish short films.
The first edition of the festival took place in 1977, in the meantime, the event was on a hiatus for five years and it returned to the viewers seventeen years ago. During the eight-day-long celebration of the cinema, the audience has a chance to watch and evaluate over 100 films from around the world. In the rich programme of the festival, there is a place for full-length feature films, documentary films and short films. It is in these categories that the following awards are given: the Golden Punt Award, the Silver Punt Award and the Crystal Punt Award.
This year, the audience of the Cambridge Film Festival will have a chance to watch and award as many as five Polish productions. The following animated films compete for the best animated film award, the Crystal Punt Award: "Oh, God!" by Betina Bożek, "The Other" by Marta Magnuska, "Room" by Michał Socha as well as two feature films "Bogdan and Rose" by Milena Dutkowska and "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak.
