FOCUS ON POLAND AT THE 40TH MILL VALLEY FESTIVAL
This year at the Mill Valley Film Festival in California Polish animation will get a special section.
In the Focus: Polish Cinema section, apart from "Spoor" by Agnieszka Holland and "The Sandglass" by Wojciech Has, the audience will see "Loving Vincent" directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman.
The other part of the programme is Mariusza Wilczyński's retrospective. There also will be a live animation screening, with music performed by Trance Mission.
The festival will also present animations from other Polish filmmakers like: Walerian Borowczyk, Jan Lenica, Ryszard Czekała, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Tomek Bagiński, and Renata Gąsiorowska.
The festival will last from 5th - 15th of October.
