POLISH PROJECT AWARDED AT EUROPEAN SHORT PITCH

Polish project "Bonjour, je suis Antek" was awarded at European Short Pitch. The director of the film, Daria Woszek and the producer, Marta Łachacz from Cor Leonis Production received a post-production grant from Espera Productions studio.

The project of the short fiction film "Bonjour, je suis Antek” was awarded at t European Short Pitch held in Luxembourg on March 7. The award, funded by Espera Productions studio from Luxembourg, is a 3000 euro post-production grant. The producer of the film is Marta Łachacz from Cor Leonis Production, and the scriptwriters are Daria Woszek and Vincent Potocki. The project is now in development.

„Bonjour, je suis Antek” is a story of an unusual relationship between a teenage immigrant Antek and a mature women Julie. The story is set in Paris. The film will talk about seeking one’s roots, the need of affiliation and discovering the power of senses.

European Short Pitch is a short film pitching and scriptwriting workshops organised by NISI MASA. The organisers' aim is to promote European short film co-productions. First, 20 participants of ESP develop their projects under the supervision of experts, and then present them to the group of over 50 film producers, distributors, commissioning editors, buyers and financiers from entire Europe. This year, European Short Pitch was held for the ninth time.

It is worth mentioning that yet another Polish project participated in the pitching, namely, "Camouflage," whose producer is Joanna Szymańska from Shipsboy and the scriptwriter is Aleksandra Świerk.
