BADYLOK
Badylok is a sixteen-year-old boy who shares his life with his mother, grandmother, and sister. They live in a house isolated by water from the rest of the world. Badylok secretly creates a flying machine that will help him to flee the house. Will he finally decide to rise into the air? Short student film. The narrative voice in the film speaks in the characteristic Upper Silesian dialect. This dialect is also reflected in the English subtitles.

Karolina Kłapkowska »
Karolina Kłapkowska was born in Wroclaw, Poland. She has graduated with a degree from Anthropology at the University of Wroclaw. She began filmmaking in 2014, attending the Krzysztof Kieslowski Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. Nowadays, she is studing the Direction of Photography on 5th year. She is also a documentary photographer – people are her first inspiration, then particular location or space and light. Karolina was awarded with the scolarship of President of Wroclaw in faculty of Culture and Art in 2015-2017.
