"THE DRESS" WITH BRONZE TADPOLE IN TORUŃ

"The Dress" continues its lucky streak, winning third prize for a student etude at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE festival of cinematographers.

Tadeusz Łysiak's film is one of the Polish short films most often chosen by festival selectors this year. This time it was also included in the competition of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE festival, which has been awarding cinematographers with Golden Frogs and Golden Tadpoles for almost 30 years. The jury decided to award Konrad Bloch's cinematography in "The Dress" with a Bronze Tadpole - the third prize for the best cinematographer of a student film.

Other Polish films that entered the international competition were: "Submission""The Hen" and "The Sabbath".

"The Dress" tells the story of Julia, who works at a roadside motel and is overwhelmed by the ubiquitous sense of rejection and loneliness. She is different and the society has made it very clear to her many times. She dreams of a relationship and physical intimacy with a man. Unexpectedly, she meets a handsome truck driver and her fantasies start revolving around him.
