Five Polish animations will be presented in the USA at the Northwest Animation Festival.

The Northwest Animation Festival is the biggest animated film festival in the United States. The festival will take place May 23-27 in Portland, Oregon. The festival audience will have a chance to see five Polish animations.

Locus by Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi is an animation showing the journey inside the world of memory.

Beside Oneself by Karolina Specht is a short film about how sometimes we want so bad to see another person as someone else and how easy it is to be beside oneself when our ideas are confronted with reality.

Debut by Katarzyna Kijek is a (self)mocking attempt to face the so-called first film syndrome.

Moczarski's Case by Tomasz Siwiński is an animated portrait of Kazimierz Moczarski – an officer of the Polish Home Army, the author of the book “Conversations with an Executioner”.

XOXO - Hugs and Kisses by Wiola Sowa focuses on emotional boundaries we set for ourselves both as individuals and as couples.
