THE LIST OF PROJECTS SELECTED FOR ANIMATED IN POLAND ANNOUNCED

The selection of projects which will be shown during the second edition of Animated in Poland has just finished. The event takes place on 26 May within the frames of Industry Zone at the 54th Krakow Film Festival.

Animated in Poland was brought up to present the latest animated films made in Poland. It aims to promote the cutting-edge short animated films that are to be finished within the next few months. The representatives of the selected projects will show the excerpts from their films and present them for the group of festival repersentatives and distributors. The event  was held for the first time last year during the 53rd edition of Krakow Film Festival. Among the last year’s participants were “Baths” by Tomek Ducki and “Lost senses” by Marcin Wasilewski - now screened at numerous film festivals and well-known to the audience. Both films take part in the national competition of the 54th Krakow Film Festival. It is also worth adding that "Baths" stands a chance of receiving the Golden Dragon Award for the best film of the international competition.

Eight projects qualified for this year's edition:

Drought by  Sara Divjak
Where’s the ghosts go? by Łukasz Biernat
Creatures by Tessa Moult-Milewska
Re-cycle by Mateusz Lenart
Matrix by Sławomir Shuty and Tomasz Bochniak
