POLISH TITLE: STUDNIA

An animated story, in surrealist poetics, about water or the lack of it. There is no water in the desert. There is a well, but without a drop of water inside. So what can you do for water to appear? When prayers don’t help, a desperate throw of an empty bucket at the floating clouds doesn’t change a thing, what is left is a journey in a balloon in the air. You never know, you might obtain some of that precious liquid.

Andrzej Gosieniecki »

Director of animated films, scriptwriter, film set designer and visual artist. He was born in 1973 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In his films he seeks novel artistic and animation techniques. The winner of prestigious prizes at, among others, the following festivals: Sichuan Television Festival - International Gold Panda Award, Cairo International Film Festival, Ale Kino International Young Audience Film Festival, OFAFA.
