Twenty-year-old Lotar feels like a total failure – he still lives with his grandma, lacks courage, inspiration, and any kind of life plan. The world around him feels like one big stream of criticism. His only escape? Imagination. There, Lotar shines as a charismatic rapper adored by the masses. In real life, he dreams of recording an album, but even stringing together two lines is a struggle. One day, in a supermarket, he runs into… a sassy, sharp-tongued sausage. She challenges him to freestyle battles and doesn’t back down. With each freestyle battle, Lotar grows bolder – and bit by bit, starts to find his voice.

Alicja Jasina is a Polish animation director. She graduated from an MFA in Animation from University of Southern California and BA at Kingston University, London. Her award-winning films have been screened at festivals worldwide, her short “Once Upon a Line” was shortlisted for the Academy Awards 2017. She strives to push the boundaries of what animation can be. Her films are unique, conceptual and humorous. She also works on commercial projects; her clients include Disney, Airbnb and Swiss Life.
