Maria Ornaf »

born 1989, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, scholarship holder of the Faculdade de Belas-Artes in Lisbon. Winner of Scholarship in a Filed of Culture and Art of Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region and the Art Scholarship of the Lodz City.  She is currently studying Film Directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz. She is continuously collaborating with Director of Photography Zuzanna Zachara-Hassairi. Their last film "Bitter Herb" had its world premiere at the 41th Moscow International Film Festival. Now the "Bitter Herb" is presented on many festivals worldwide and so far it was awarded at 38th Koszalin Festival Film Debut "Youth and Film", 9th International Transatlantyk Film Festival, 3th Suwałki Film Festival Notofest and 44th Polish FIlm Festival in Gdynia.
