POLISH TITLE: OSTATNIA BAJKA O ZIEMI

„The Last Tale About Earth” is a story of a father and two of his children, who try to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Everything in their surroundings seems to suggest they are the only people on Earth. They live in an underground shelter in the woods, and due to air contamination they never go outside without protective clothing. A mysterious signal “from the outside”, seen only by the girl, becomes their motivation to face what hides beyond their known world.

Born in 1988 in Warsaw. After graduating from high school he realised that film and photography are the two most beloved things in his life. He study Cinematography at the University of Silesia in Katowice, tutored by Bogdan Dziworski and Adam Sikora. In 2014 he was the recipient of the renowned industry award KTR Young Directors for booktrailer advertising Marcin Wroński’s crime novel “Haiti”. In 2015 he won a prestigious Jan Machulski's award for cinematography for the movie "Stranger".

 

Magdalena Seweryn »

Magda is a student of Cinematography at the Krzysztof Kieslowski Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia and a graduate of Documentary Studies at the University of Warsaw. As a screenwriter, director and cinematographer, she worked on the sets of numerous documentary and narrative films, both in Poland and abroad, developing her skills under guidance of such cinematographers as Bogdan Dziworski, Adam Sikora, Marcin Koszałka or Arkadiusz Tomiak.
