Everybody knows this feeling: the monotonous rhythm of the train, the landscape moving fast outside and a head full of thoughts. Time slows down encouraging an inner journey, as a lonely woman sinks deeper and deeper into her memories. She is traveling to her family: to an absent husband and her child whom she can't learn to miss. She's going back home but in her thoughts she’s leaving again. Departures and returns collapse into one confusing journey trough her mind. In the empty train drama slowly evolves.

She was born in Krakow in 1986. She graduated in animation from the Film School in Łódź and in psychology from the University of Warsaw. She is a producer and director of animated films specializing in stop-motion techniques. For many years, she co-created LeLe Crosmedia Production. In her films, she experiments with traditional animation techniques, creating small, intimate worlds. The films she has directed have gained international recognition, including the Annecy Award for Best Diploma Film for “Ab ovo,” and are shown at festivals around the world.
