Katarzyna Małyszko
Director of animated shorts and illustrator, born in Wrocław, Poland. She completed her Master's Degree in Animated Film and Special Effects at the Łódź Film School. She received the Best Short Film award at the 19th Neisse Film Festival and the Festival du Cinéma Nature and Environnement for The Wildwood Diptych, co-directed with Szymon Ruczyński. She often uses animation as a platform to explore topics important to her, which led to her participation in Animated Protests for Women’s Rights, Free Belarus, the humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, and support for Ukraine.
