"Fanatic", an animated film directed by Mateusz Jarmulski, has been selected for the competition at the Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea, one of the foremost short film festivals in the world. This year's edition takes place from 23 to 28 April.

“Fear”, directed by Robert Zawadzki of the Gdynia Film School, has received a Special Mention in the competition section of Hollywood ShortsFest in Los Angeles.

The short films “Lost & Found”, directed by Wiktoria Kwoka, and “Dad’s Not Home” by Jan Saczek have been selected for the official programme of the 50th Cleveland International Film Festival, taking place from 9 to 18 April 2026. They are the only two Polish short productions chosen from among 4,000 submissions.

Three films from the Warsaw Film School have been selected for the programme of the Brussels Short Film Festival, which runs from 23 April to 2 May 2026. These are the only Polish titles in this year's selection. 'Princessy', directed by Franciszek Korolczuk, has been chosen for the main competition as well as the Next Generation section, which is also going to feature 'Haiphongpol' by Leon Korzyński and 'Qaher' by Nada Khalifa.
